Gazprom's extreme measures for Ukraine
Gazprom would have to use extreme measures to make Ukraine return to the negotiations table, says Gazprom CEO Aleksy Miller. Ukraine has declined every Russian proposal concerning a new gas agreement and is continuing to steal Russias gas destined for Europe.

Ukraine will have to pipe its own gas reserves to Europe to make up for the fuel that Gazprom claims was stolen by Kiev. The Russian company also says it is being forced to cut the volume of gas piped tor Europe via Ukraine.

The energy giant has set new terms for gas delivery to Ukraine which are to be based on fair market value. Earlier, Kiev had failed to accept a lower offer. The country's gas supply was turned off New Year's Day due to unpaid debt.
